Precision Classic Cutting (Basic)

Pre-requisite: Must be a qualified hairdresser or apprentice.

20 hours, 5 days at 4 hours a day

This course applies to hairdressers who visualize the components of finished haircut structures and use 2-D representations of interior and exterior lines and angles, and the direction of design lines and angles, as aids to planning haircuts.

It is recommended for individuals who wish to sharpen their skills and widen their range by emphasizing on techniques that consistently delight clients whatever gender and age they may be.

Avante Garde Creative Cutting (Advanced)

Pre-requisite: Must be a qualified hairdresser or apprentice.

40 hours, 10 days at 4 hours a day

This course involves research, analysis, planning and then selecting and applying tools and equipment, to design and apply creative haircut structures and after-haircut finishing techniques on a range of clients. The demonstrated ability to research and develop knowledge of local and international current and coming hair fashion trends is required.

Long Hair Design

Pre-requisite: Must be a qualified hairdresser or apprentice.

30 hours, 9 days at 3.5 hours a day

This course applies to hairdressers in salon and session styling environments, who research current directions in long hair design and combine design elements, principles and technical skills to achieve creative, experimental or innovative (avant garde) long hair images on clients. Such images are based on local, international, current and emerging hair and fashion trends.

Color (Basic to Advanced) and Fashion Foiling

Pre-requisite: Must be a qualified hairdresser or apprentice

15 hours, 5 days at 4 hours a day

This course requires the learner/operator to communicate with clients regarding their desired hair colour finish. It involves analysis of the characteristics of hair, including natural base colour, and the selection and application of hair colour, high lift tints and/or bleach products alone or in combination to create highlights, lightened sections of the head or multiple colours in the hair.

Knowledge of the workplace hair colour and lightening range and current fashion in foiled and highlighted effects, along with knowledge of relevant local health regulations and the workplace approach to colour services, with particular emphasis on client and operator safety, are also taught.

Modern Hair Techniques

It involves communication, analysis, planning and then selecting hair type, preparing materials and applying modern ombre techniques to create finished hair designs. It requires knowledge of hair science and application techniques.

 

Brazilian Blow out

Pre-requisite: N/A

20 hours, 5 days at 4 hours a day

This 5 day Brazilian blow out is perfect for anyone who wants to develop and broaden their hairdressing skills. It involves communication, analysis, planning and then selecting hair type, preparing materials and applying modern straightening techniques using blow dryer and flat iron to create finished hair designs. It requires knowledge of hair science and application techniques.

 

Hair Rebonding

This 5 day Hair Rebonding is perfect for anyone who wants to develop and broaden their hairdressing skills. It involves communication, analysis, planning and then selecting hair type, preparing materials and applying modern straightening techniques to create finished hair designs. It requires knowledge of hair science and application techniques.

Salon Management

Pre-requisite: Must be a qualified Salon Owner, Salon Manager, hairdresser or apprentice.

40 hours, 10 days at 4 hours a day

Gain knowledge and develop your skills in managing a beauty salon in areas of quality, customer service, finance and accounting, human resources, purchasing, product inventory as well as marketing and sales.

Men’s Hair Cutting Short Course

Pre-requisite: Must be a qualified hairdresser or apprentice.

20 hours, 5 days at 4 hours a day

This course applies to hairdressers, who visualize the components of finished haircut structures and use 2-D representations of interior and exterior lines and angles, and the direction of design lines and angles, as aids to planning haircuts.

This module will entitle the students to understand the fundamentals in men’s haircutting and to identify the principal tools and implements used in the practice of barbering.
